Thanks to all for coming out to Emergenza on the 16th of June. We had a great time playing for everyone and we hope to see all of our fans at future shows. Congratulations to Hunter from Side Affects for taking best bassist. You guys rocked. Right now, our engineer Biz is mixing our EP titled "A Chosen Path", and it is the best sound that we have ever had. The drums sound epic, the guitar and bass tones incredible, and vocals are top notch. We are very proud of this recording and cannot wait to share it with the rest of the world. It has everything that fans should expect from us. Its heavy, soft, and everything in between. We cannot express enough our gratitude for our fans, and we hope that within the next few months, everyone will be able to enjoy this mini-masterpiece. Once again, look for us on tour and look on Myspace or Crimsonorchidband.com for any updates. Peace and Metal.

Crimson Orchid would like to welcome all of our family, friends, and fans to 2007, the self proclaimed year of the orchid. Big plans and many surprises coming in this new year. Starting off this wonderful chapter will be our 2nd affair with Emergenza. Last year we were one of the strongest bands in the competition only due to the fact of our intense support from everyone. We ask for the same this year and we hope to repeat our previous advancements from last years events. THIS MEANS YOU HAVE TO BUY A TICKET AND RAISE YOUR FUCKING HAND. That is said with all due respect! $10 a ticket @ Fletchers on January 14th. You came last year, you know the routine. Also, for those who don't know...we will be opening for God Forbid on thier Chains of Humanity tour with Goatwhore, Arsis, Mnemic, and Byzantine at the Ottobar. You can buy tickets from us, which is recommended. It's cheaper. Check out the shows section for anymore details you need and to see all the other great events we will be graced to perform.

We're selling tickets now for $10 or you can pay more at the door, do what seems right. Also for any God Forbid fans...they're playing at the Ottobar on February 15th, doesn't that ROCK?

CONGRATS to our very own Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Le Doux who tied the knot 6/13/06. Such a happy couple with such pretty faces. Also Congrats to xDwellx who won last night at the Emergenza Regional Finals, we all wish them the best in thier future endeavors. As for Crimson Orchid we came in a healthy number 2. We won't be continuing on in the competition, but one thing is for sure that last night was one hell of a show. Thank you to every motherfucker who came and showed thier support for us last night at the Recher, at the 8x10, and at Fletchers. Without you we wouldn't have made it past the first round and for that, we applaud you. For all you New Yorkers, we are returning to Pat's Place on the 30th. As for Baltimore, you're just gonna have to wait! Keep checking for updates. Peace!

June 3rd, 2006
I've been doing little things all around the site recently, so if interested you can look around and check it out. Finally the NITB pictures are up, from the show and in the studio. All pictures now on a photobucket album. If you haven't noticed yet, a new header for everything, everyone needs alittle change sometimes. We are writing a few new songs that all of us agree to be very proud of. Maybe you'll hear them in the near future, maybe you won't. What you will hear in the near future though is Crimson Orchid tearin up the stage at the Recher Theatre on June 17th. Don't forget to get your ticket! You don't want to get stuck paying 20 bucks at the door. Tickets are $15 from us. Email us, myspace us, call us, whatever you need! Be there!

May 1st, 2006
We will be playing the finals of Emergenza at the Recher Theatre. Yes, we won with 93 votes. A fucking amazing show thanks for every single person who showed up and supported us and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for it. Without any of your support we wouldn't have made it this far in this competition. For anyone who missed it, you still have a chance to come out and cast your vote for Crimson Orchid at the Recher Theatre on June 17th. That is all the details we have so far, later this week I will fill you in with the rest. We will be returning to New York for a show on May 12th, as soon as I get more info I will make sure it is posted. Keep checking back for updates because so much more is to come.

Coming in at first, with a total of 94 votes....Crimson Orchid. We will be moving to the next round of Emergenza. Thank you so much to everyone who came out and supported us. When we find out the date of the second round, we'd love the same support. Let's move CO to Recher! On top of this, recently we got a message inviting us to play at Noise in the Basement. Feb. 27th, at Fletchers again and on Feb. 26th, listen to 98 Rock's Noise in the Basement and hear one of our songs off the new album. Once again, thanks to everyone for the support last night and we love you all!!

Feburary 02, 2006
One week and counting, Emergenza. You can still get tickets from anyone in the band for 10 bucks or just pay 15 bucks at the door. We suggest saving that extra 5$ and getting a ticket. For those who aren't aware, we are playing an international battle of the bands show at Fletchers in one week, Feb. 9th. Doors open at 7:30, 8 bands. A special surprise for anyone who has patiently waited (and we thank you for that), we will have copies of our new full length album, Chapter XIII: Nightmares & Fairytales for sale at the show. 10$ a CD. Help Crimson Orchid reach Round 2 of Emergenza and raise a fist. And for a breath of fresh air, Emergenza will be our first local show with Jason back on the stage with us. His wrist has healed and we are standing stronger than ever. T-shirts will be out very shortly as well as stickers and buttons. So keep checking back for updates, you never know whats coming up next....

January 4th, 2006
The order to 100 copies of Nightmares & Fairytales has finally been submitted. You can email us to reserve your copy starting now. Just give us your name, email address, and home address and we will let you know when we get them in. But remember, its only 100 copies so be quick! We got two new shows in New York and we are now selling tickets for our Emergenza show at Fletchers in Feb. 10$ a ticket, its a battle of the bands so we need as much support as we can get. Email us for a ticket or talk to David on AIM at Potatoe Snack or Ryan at XxibassxX.

December 2nd, 2005
So, we had a quick November. We a good bundle of shows, most of which went very well. The show at Brewnettes in December has been cancelled due to an unfortunate and unexpected closing. In this case we're taking a short break for shows to prepare for February. For those who don't know, we are particpating in the Emergenza Festival this year. The first show is at Fletchers on February 9th. We go at 10:00. We want every motherfucker we know at this show with full support for Crimson Orchid. We want to go as far as this oppurtunity to take us and at this point, its up to you. Come support us, bring your friends, bring your family, bring your lovers, bring your next door neighbor, bring your boss. Raise one hand for Crimson Orchid. We couldn't keep rockin the stage if it wasn't for those who support us and this is one of the best chances you to have to help out. The release of our new album is coming closer and closer everyday. No set date as of now but it's finally beginning to get back on track. Soon to come as well are T-shirts, stickers, and more demos. Keep an eye out or check back for updates. The days are closing in!

October 31st, 2005
Happy Halloween from Crimson Orchid!! The AA Hallows Eve show was amazing. We played our most theatrical performance yet and had an awesome reaction from the crowd. Thanks to everyone who supported us and came out and rocked the fuck out. Special thanks to Alex for asking us back, you put on an incredible show. We had a few technical difficulties, played a song of ours without any guitar or bass, only drums and singing, but the show must go on. Rumors of someone pulling a plug on us, in which if so, they will sooner or later regret and alot rumors of us blowing a circuit. We must have rocked that fucking hard. And a newfound friend of ours Pattern 13 rocks just as hard. The Hatchets Eve show also went very well. Thanks Mandah!!!!!!! This weekend has been exhausting but we loved every second of it. We have another show coming up this Saturday and I want to see just as many people who were there for us on Saturday, there with us at Brewnettes. Much love to you all and have a SUPER Halloween!

October 10th, 2005

For anyone with curiousity about our upcoming shows heres some news for you. Jason has recently gotten surgery done to his wrist and will not be onstage with us until the end of this year. Although he will be with us at every show. A warning to all...right now I've done fucked up with the pictures section so I recommend not clicking on it. I'm still getting used to this whole...HTML thing. haha...We have yet another show at the wonderful Brewnettes in December and another show coming up next year that we will need everyones support on. Details on that will coming as days pass. Goodnight and once again...dont click on the pictures section until I give an Okay.
September 23rd, 2005
So heres an update...we've been booked at Brewnettes again. Its a Juggalo show put together by Mandah, look at the Tour section for details. For those of you who don't know, shortly after Ryan found a house, Jacob did as well. We ordered buttons. Email us if you want some. We have a new song off of Nightmares & Fairytales on our myspace account. Check it out if you think you're ready. PEACE.
September 1st, 2005
To anyone who missed the show at Brewnettes, sorry. Thank you Eryn for putting the show on and thank you to anyone who attended. I just put up some new shows on the tour section. We've been added to Fearfest 2005, AA Hallows Eve 2005, and a couple of others, so check it out and keep a mental note to come out to one. Congratulations to Ryan who has found a place to call home. As for now, thats all the news I have to offer.
August 26th, 2005
We have a show THIS coming Sunday, just announcing it to anyone who has not yet heard. It is at Brewnettes and doors open at 6. But in the mean time, I'll explain that I have no eligable reason why I haven't gotten around to making the bios and putting up the pictures. It's just a long tedious process that I am working on slowly. If anyone is actually upset about my laziness or just can't wait to see all the cool looking Crimson Orchid pictures then let me know and I'll speed up abit. But if no one cares, I'll take my time. It's up to you. Anyways, as of now Nightmares & Fairytales is completely recorded, mixed, and soon to be mastered. Now we're just going through ideas of artwork for the album. Either way, after the album is mastered, there will be a demo hitting the streets, so everyone will hear it soon enough. If you can't wait for the demo, just come to Brewnettes this Sunday night. Yeah, its that easy.

August 15th, 2005
Well well well! I probably shouldn't have all this shit up just yet. This site is under some serious constrution, nothin is up yet. All I ask for is your patience and if you could, any pictures of anything to do with the band would be nice. Just send them to crimsonorchidband@yahoo.com. In the meantime...keep yourself busy, sign the guestbook. Be safe and goodnight.
